For those not interested in Zombies, I will be attending TIMEGATE 2009 in ATLANTA, GA this May (memorial day weekend) for the Dr. Who and Stargate fans!

Yes, this means that I will be updating very soon with lots of new costumes including Nyssa and Rose Tyler from their respective seasons on Dr. Who

hello internetz world! I am finally doing an obligatory update on this here blog. I will be updating my website soon with a customer gallery, as I've made lots of costumes and have lots of pictures to share and I will be updating with a image-heavy post with new costumes and original designs.


For those that do not have my personal LJ friended, I have been working feverishly on costumes and commissions for Dragon*Con which is Aug 31 thru Sept 3rd here in Atlanta, Georgia.

If you plan to attend, please look for us! We will be wearing plenty of new costumes I've made, including Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty (blue version of her ballgown) & Belle from Beauty and the Beast (yellow ballgown), Lil Miss Vixen from Atomic County (the OC), Mary Jensen from Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital miniseries, Baby Firefly from Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses, Luna Lovegood and a whole WHOLE lot more!

If you plan to attend, I will be at the pirate party on Sunday night (as a judge for the costume contest). Look for me in my original bokor/pirate costume


And if all that isn't enough to keep Moony busy, my sister is getting married on Sept. 8th and has requested that I make her Maid of Honor's gown as well as my own gown for the event. Stay tuned for pics of that as well, as the design is an original piece XD

Now... with all that said, for anyone interested in Costume Commissions for Halloween I would advise notifcation ASAP as we are filling up very quickly. I will take US-orders for Halloween until Oct. 1st and OVER-SEAS orders for Halloween until Sept 21st.

I realize I have been in quite the end of an update.

For all those interested, I am still taking commission requests for the three major HP-related events this year. Here are the costume commission deadlines:


Phoenix Rising: deadline to order by is March 30th
Prophecy: deadline to order by June 10th
Sectus: deadline to order by May 20th


I am taking commissions for movie, book, and original costume pieces. I am also still taking commission requests for anyone who might be interested in a custom plushie.

Padfoot and I will be attending Phoenix Rising in May, hopefully I will see a lot of you there. I will be running the costuming workshop, so it would be great to have a good turn out. If you're coming to PR, be sure not to miss it! XD

For those with commissons currently withstanding, your orders will be going out this week and most likely early next week.

I think that's all I've got to say. ^_^; Back to the sewing room! XD

On a completely different note from the usual commissions, I thought I would share 3 little darlings that were commissioned from my partner and I a few weeks back....

These little guys stand 15" tall, hand made from muslin, felt, and fabric, and they come with removable clothing. They are CUSTOM MADE TO ORDER at $35.00 a piece plus 5.00 for shipping/handling. They take 3-4 weeks to complete (though depending how my commissions are going, they might take longer)

Cheerleaders
House cheerleaders to compliment the Quidditch players
$75.00 includes top, skirt, and pompoms.

House CanCan Dancers
Can Can costumes in the style of Moulin Rouge representing the four Houses
$250.00 includes skirt (and all those layered ruffles) and corset.

Death Eater robes
Based off the design I used to make Rodolphus and Rabastan's robes
$75.00 for the robe and a mask (similar to my two, but I can't promise they'll be the same)

The Yule Ball Collection
Formal dress robes for both men and women, each design unique to the purchaser! The prices are going to vary. Anywhere from $200 to $1000+ depending on materials and design.
